Imagine what we will be without the powerful presence of Mother Nature with its infinite resources. Imagine how we will be but for the contributions generously provided by the Society. We just cannot exist at all without these two great institutions. Mother Nature, through her bounties like air, water, fire, ether and earth, along with its plants, trees, flowers and fruits, plays a very important role in our life. So also the Society with the varied facilities makes our life worth living. Yet, is there any way we can ever think of repaying our indebtedness to these institutions? Do we at all make an earnest attempt to express our gratitude to these institutions? We hardly ever think about it!

The only way we can, in some small measure, try to express our gratitude is by loving and serving the creations in the world, looking upon them as our own brethren. Great saints therefore have laid great emphasis on loving and serving the poor. It is said that the greatest gift is the gift of knowledge. When such a gift is offered to the poorest of the poor, it gives them an opportunity to progress in life.
